Donating to Fircroft

A high proportion of students at Fircroft are seriously disadvantaged adults returning to learning, looking for a ‘second chance’ to turn their lives around. Many have previously faced chronic exclusion from education through mental health and behavioural issues, being abused, drug or alcohol dependency issues and homelessness. For many of our students, coming to Fircroft is a life-changing experience.

With your help, we can continue to enrich and change people’s lives for many years to come.

If you would prefer to donate by cheque you can download a donation form and send back with your cheque enclosed  to Fircroft College of Adult Education, 1018 Bristol Road, Selly Oak, Birmingham, B29 6LH. Please make cheques payable to ‘Fircroft College Appeal’

Thank you very much for your generosity.

The government funding we receive each year is focused on core teaching and learning activities. There is also a bursary scheme contributing towards students’ tuition fees and residential living costs. However, we require additional funds to help us improve our facilities and provide a better learning experience for our students. Any contribution you make will go towards the following projects:

  • Student Support – aimed at giving very disadvantaged students the basic financial support they need to stay in education

  • Redevelopment of kitchens and dining area – we are hoping to make some much needed improvements to our kitchen/dining room and increase capacity

  • Double/secondary glazing of main building – aimed at improving the energy efficiency of the Edwardian main building and reducing fuel and heating costs
