For the second year running Fircroft College is offering the Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) award, developed in conjunction with the University of Warwick. This is a nationally recognised introductory qualification designed to help people who teach, tutor or train in the voluntary and community sector.

The PTLLS award will give you the skills and understanding required for teaching  in this sector and can also lead towards further teaching qualifications for either an Associate Teacher Learning and Skills Status or Qualified Teacher  Learning and Skills Status.

Part One of the course runs from 17 to 20 May, while Part Two runs from 28 June to 1 July. There is also an induction day on Monday 19 April.

There is currently a limited number of spaces left. Click here to read more about the course or call the short course office on 0121 472 0116 for more information and to apply.
