Diversity - Meeting the
Challenge.
Day 1: 13th
November 2008. Day 2: 8th January 2009.
This course
is ideal for anyone who wants to understand the business case
for Diversity, as well as for staff who are responsible for
ensuring that their organisations are compliant with legislation
in relation to race, disability, gender, age, faith and
sexuality. There is a strong focus upon identifying the
opportunities that Diversity can bring to your organisation, as
well as looking at how to create and implement an effective
Diversity strategy.
Diversity at Work.
Day 1: 5th February 2009. Day 2: 5th March 2009.
Using a
number of case studies, Diversity at Work looks at how issues
such as ethnicity, disability, gender, sexuality, faith, and
age, all impact upon the way in which services are delivered and
accessed in
Britain
today. This course equips participants with the understanding,
awareness and skills to promote a culture of inclusiveness in
the workplace, and explores how to meet the complex needs of
local communities.
Diversity – Promoting Equality.
Day 1: 30th
April 2009. Day 2: 28th May 2009.
Promoting
Equality examines the development of our diverse multi-cultural
society, and is designed to give participants an understanding
of the different ethnic and faith communities in
Britain
today. The course also explores how to create an open and
inclusive culture at work, which is respectful of different
faiths and cultures, as well as compliant with
anti-discriminatory legislation.
