Fircroft College has introduced a number of two day courses aimed at helping people to get into work and succeed in their jobs. Running between April and June, employability courses will give job seekers the confidence and the vital skills necessary to stand out in a tough employment market.

There are courses in how plan your job search and your career, how to put together a successful application and how to impress at interviews. Courses also cover the skills needed in most jobs, such as teamwork and communication, problem solving and customer service. Classes are informal, friendly and taught in small groups by experienced tutors.

These courses are residential, including meals and accommodation, and are FREE for learners claiming certain benefits, including Job Seekers Allowance, Working Tax Credit, Council Tax Benefit, Pension Guarantee Credit, Housing Benefit or Income Support.

Learners can take as many of these courses as they want – however successful completion of all seven courses will lead to an NOCN Progression Certificate, a qualification recognised by all employers. No previous qualifications are necessary and there is no need to come in for a formal interview beforehand.

For more information and to apply please call us on 0121 472 0116 or view our employability pathway pages where you can download course leaflets and apply online.
