Fircroft College of Adult Education, based in the heart of Birmingham, is very pleased to announce that it has been nominated for the industry-recognised award by the Investors in People.

 

The shortlist has been drawn and Fircroft College has been shortlisted for Best Newcomer to Investors in People. Members of the college will be attending the glitzy Vegas themed ceremony, hosted by Russel Kane, in November to find out if they have won.

 

This nomination follows a highly successful year for the Birmingham-based college which saw nominations for CIPD, HR Excellence and TES awards as well as outstanding student results including 100% pass rate for the Access to Higher Education diploma. On top of this the college were very pleased to attain Gold accreditation from the IIP in 2018 on the basis of strong and consistent values, clear leadership, high levels of staff engagement and a detailed understanding of the wider community.

 

Fircroft College of Adult Education provides residential short courses and other educational opportunities for a range of adult students, some of whom have faced disadvantage or barriers to learning and would otherwise not have the opportunity to learn, the college are passionate about social justice and the benefits of lifelong learning.

 

The award nomination demonstrates the hard work and commitment shown by the college as it continues with its mission of social justice for all.
