A Day in the Life of.......Faisal Mustafa For the most part, I will be a student’s first port of call. As Admissions Officer the information and guidance that I provide to a learner will be key to how their learning journey at the college unfolds. Throughout the enrolment process it is important that I garner and record as much information as possible about the individual learner in order to place them on an appropriate course of study, tailored to their learning needs, academic level, goals and aspirations. It is both satisfying and rewarding to know that I play an important role in the inspiring and successful transformations of our learners. My day is exceptionally busy, inputting enrolment data on to the information system, answering all manner of phone calls and queries, taking payments and advising students. I work both independently and as part of a supportive team which I particularly enjoy. Here in admissions we are proud to adopt an open door policy which promotes excellent communication between ourselves and students and allows an essential flow of information between ourselves and colleagues. I thoroughly enjoy my job here at Fircroft. It provides me with job satisfaction and a sense of security. Every day is different and it allows me to meet a range of very interesting people from all walks of life. The college and campus itself is an inspiring environment to be and I am proud to be a part of its wonderful history and heritage.
