About this course 

This course is a great introduction to the skills needed to work in the health and social care sector as well as giving you the opportunity to enhance your workplace skills. This is an ideal course if you are considering a career in health and social care and want to know the basics to enhance your opportunities of working in that sector or you want to progress to higher qualifications. The course will also give you the opportunity to brush up on your employability skills, helping to give you that extra edge when seeking employment or promotion. This is a 6-week online course.

Course Date

Monday 29th June - 3rd August 2020

Online only

6 weeks duration 

7 hours per week on Tuesday at 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm and

Thursday 10am-12pm and 1pm-2pm 

You will also need to commit to a minimum of 5 hours per week of independent study

Eligibility Criteria

You will need to have achieved an Entry Level English (E3) qualification.

You will also need to have basic IT skills, access to a computer and WiFi.

You will need to have a webcam, microphone and speaker installed within, or attached, to your computer to allow interaction during the virtual lessons.
