About this course 

All great businesses need great managers.

This course is designed to give people who are working or have worked, in a supervisory capacity the skills to become successful team leaders, especially in these challenging times.  The course will include a focus on the new way of working for many such as managing a team remotely and identifying and supporting your team’s mental health needs. This is a 6-week online course and is accredited by the Institute of leadership and Management.

3 hours of live online delivery every Tuesday

You will also need to commit to a minimum of 5 hours per week of independent study

  • Understand why mental health matters in the workplace 
  • Understand the spectrum of mental health 
  • Know how to identify signs of distress in the workplace

  • Know how to lead a remote working team 
  • Know how to provide support for remote workers
Eligibility Criteria 

You will need to have achieved a Level 2 English qualification.

You will need to have basic IT skills, access to a computer and WiFi

You will need to have a webcam, microphone and speaker installed within, or attached, to your computer to allow interaction during the virtual lessons.
