This course is designed to give you some great suggestions and hints and tips on how food can improve your health and wellbeing as well as how cooking meals from scratch can help you to save time and money. The course covers: What is healthy eating? Why is healthy eating important for physical and mental health? How to create healthy meals on a budget. At the end of this one day taster course you will have learned: How to create a weekly menu plan, within a set budget How to write a shopping list How to complete a weekly food waste tracker You will also be given a menu plan, shopping list, a food waste template, simple recipes and a list of websites and apps giving further information about food related health and wellbeing.
