Food Services Assistant
Scale 1 - £18,525 per annum pro rata
Hours per week: 18 hours Monday to Sunday ranging from 7.30am – 7pm

We are looking to appoint a Food Services Assistant, the main purpose of this role will be to support our busy kitchen function with the preparation and serving of food, and maintaining the cleanliness and high standards in the dining room, common room and kitchen.

To be considered for this role you must have experience of working in a busy kitchen environment. You must also have a basic food hygiene certificate, a sound understanding of health and safety legislation and excellent customer service skills. It is desirable that you would have a level 2 NVQ or similar level of training and experience of working in an education environment.

The right person will be someone who enjoys working at a fast pace, with a strong work ethic, who has a positive outlook and a ‘can do’ attitude and is a completer / finisher.
