Our Courses Find Courses ESOL Courses Functional Skills English : ESOL Writing Non-Residential at the college This third element of the ESOL course will give all students the relevant writing skills required for them to obtain the Literacy qualification at an Entry Level 3. The aim of this course is to equip you with the confidence and knowledge you require to develop and build on your existing reading and writing skill. Some of the key areas of focus will include writing emails, formal and informal writing, preparing for work, reading letters, comprehending different types of text and writing short stories. This course will be particularly useful and interesting for anyone who wishes to develop their reading and writing skills. If you want to build your confidence further in ESOL and develop your current skills, then this is the ideal course for you! Date 10th January 2022 - 4th April 2022 Mondays Apply Fees English and Maths courses are free Entry Requirements You will have to have completed the Speaking and Listening ESOL or pass one of our ESOL initial Assessments. Level Entry-level 3 Learning Outcomes Learners will achieve an accredited Entry Level 3 certificate upon successful completion of this course. This course will include a lot of visuals including videos, presentations and games such as Kahoot to motivate students and create a more interactive and enjoyable learning experience. Progression Once this course has been successfully completed, students can then progress to a Level 1 Functional skills course in English.
