Level 1/Level 2 

Students will consider different political perspectives, such as liberalism, conservatism and socialism, and you will be able to explore how the application of political ideology by governments can shape society.

Learning Outcomes

This course will examine several political ideologies such as conservatism, liberalism and socialism and also examine the increasing impact of identity politics. Students will have an opportunity to develop their understanding of democracy and the workings of the democratic process.

Who is this course for?

This course would benefit anyone wishing to understand politics on a deeper level or those with a general interest in the social sciences.
