Perhaps you just want a better knowledge of how and why things work, maybe you didn't really like science at school but wish you had some of the basic knowledge. Please don't worry this course is designed for people who are complete beginners, we are going to take a hands-on approach to the science of everyday life and try to answer some questions you may have wondered about! How does electricity work? What is a calorie? How does the internet work? Why do I feel cold when my temperature is high? These are the types of questions we will look at in this course.
