Our Courses Find Courses IT for the Workplace This course will take you through the IT skills needed for gaining employment. Packages looked at include ‘Word’, ‘Excel’ and ‘PowerPoint’. Word processing is the most commonly used type of software package. You will learn how to make changes to the appearance of your work. You will cut, copy and paste text as well as spell checking, saving and printing. You will gain a basic introduction to Excel spreadsheets. You don’t need to be great at figures for this course; we will teach you how to use the software to do the calculations for you. Presentation software such as PowerPoint allows you to tell a story through pictures and text. Learn how to do this with a click of the mouse.
