This course is for anyone who works or would like to work closely with vulnerable adults, their families and carers. Safeguarding is everyone’s business and it is important to ensure your safeguarding knowledge is up to date and in line with government policies and procedures.

Learning Outcomes The course covers what safeguarding is, key legislation, how to identify the signs of abuse and who could be most at risk, the capacity to make decisions, how to respond to concerns, how to act if information is disclosed to you, sharing information, how to record concerns and referrals. You will refresh and update your knowledge and understanding to enable you to provide the highest level of care for vulnerable adults.
Entry Requirements

You will need your own computer with a camera and microphone installed so that you can fully engage with online learning when enrolling onto the online version of this course.
