Learning Outcomes You will cover the following modules; Solving problems by making effective decisions in the workplace Being able to analyse a complex problem in the context of the workplace Being able to apply decision-making techniques when assessing possible solutions Being able to plan how you will implement the solutions Understanding the organisational culture and context CoveringUnderstanding the culture and context of the organisation Understanding own ability to function within the organisational culture and ethical norms Understanding the management role to improve management performance; Understanding the specific responsibilities of middle managers in enabling an organisation to achieve its goals Understanding how communication and interpersonal skills affect managerial performance in the workplace Be able to assess personal development opportunities to improve own managerial performance Entry Requirements Your English must be good enough to write detailed reports and plans. You can demonstrate this on your application by showing you have an English qualification at L2 or have achieved other qualifications at Level 3 or above. Or you can take Fircroft’s initial assessment. You need to be an experienced manager who has been responsible for a particular area of the business. For the assignments, you need to write in detail about a real organisation so you need to be working there in a paid or voluntary capacity, or have worked there in the recent past. You will need a computer and internet access at home along with a microphone, speakers and a camera installed.
