This course is designed for anyone who is hoping to progress to level 3 qualifications and particularly those hoping to eventually progress to our Access to HE Diplomas and then university. You will focus on study skills to help you improve your abilities to achieve at higher levels of study. We know it may be years since you studied at school or college so we will guide you through this course at a pace you can handle.

Our teachers are well qualified in their subject areas and experienced in helping adults to progress who have not been in education for some years. Students who study with us residentially can immerse themselves into 3 days and 2 nights each week in their studies leaving behind other distractions.

Being a residential student is hugely beneficial in helping you to get away from every-day life to focus on your learning, having extra interaction with your peers and allowing you valuable thinking time. Students who are non-residential will study one day per week in college and one day online.

You will study a wide range of subjects that, as well as increasing your knowledge in different areas, will give you a great introduction to academic requirements to prepare you for further study, especially if you are interested in applying for our Access to HE Diplomas in October:
