Our Pre-Access qualifications are designed to support people in developing the skills needed to progress a Level 3 Access or Foundation course. These courses also help students to gain confidence in their own ability and obtain transferable skills and knowledge. We offer both residential and non-residential places.

The qualifications focus on study skills, literacy, numeracy and personal development. Students also gain an insight into the Social Sciences, Humanities and Health sectors through our varied topics such as history, psychology, as well as learning valuable study skills.

These courses are a level 2 course

 

Course duration

The course is a 20 week course and students can either choose to be residents at the college or attend as day students.

 

Entry requirements

Students will need to have English and Maths level 1 and will be interviewed as part of the application process. Students may also have to undertake an assessment.
