This course is designed to raise awareness, educate, and empower you on the critical issue of domestic violence.

This course is for anyone who has survived domestic violence and/or has family members who are survivors

Please note:

We understand that you may have recently experienced some of the topics covered in this course, which could potentially affect your readiness to engage with certain subject matter.  Because your well-being is of the utmost importance to us we would like to stress that this training course is not designed for personal therapy.  To help you identify if you are ready for this course at this time, we will contact you for an informal chat before the course, to ensure that you are fully aware of the course content and to assess your suitability for the programme.

This course aims to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to move forward from experiences of domestic violence

Throughout the course, you will explore various aspects of domestic violence awareness

By the end of this course, you will have developed a comprehensive understanding of domestic violence and its impact

This course aims to foster empathy, promote social change, and create a network of informed individuals dedicated to breaking the cycle of domestic violence.

All learners enrolling on 2026/27 courses will use laptops, tablets and other digital technology as part of their learning

Entry Requirements

You must be working at Entry-Level 3 in Literacy, or above
