Fircroft is a unique place to work, in many ways, with lots of benefits – both staff benefits and the fact you are working in an oasis of calm in a busy city, in a previous Cadbury family home surrounded by 6 acres of beautiful grounds. Of course the biggest bonus of all is knowing that whatever job you do, it is helping people to transform their lives with education.
The social justice legacy of George Cadbury Jnr. who established the college in 1909, continues at Fircroft. We believe that everyone should have a chance in life and many of our students have had sometimes multiple barriers put in front of them that they have found difficult to overcome. With the help of our referral partners, funders, governors and other stakeholders, we are able to offer those students a helping hand to come to the college, immerse themselves in the unique residential experience, and move on with their lives. Find out more about who we are, our history and our Mission and values, that guide everything we do, here.
Our staff benefits include:
- free parking
- free lunch or evening meal
- free hot drinks
- generous annual leave
- generous pension scheme
- health cash plan
- NUS discount cards
The College is committed to equality of opportunity, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults, and expects all staff to share this commitment.
In 2021, we were very proud to affiliate with the Black Leadership Group. We particularly welcome applications from underrepresented groups including ethnicity, gender, transgender, age, disability, sexual orientation or religion
