This course is ideal for you if you have a particular interest in history, social issues and current affairs. It is also a good taster course for you if you are applying for one of our Access to Higher Education diplomas starting in September.
We will explore:
- What multiculturalism is and how it has changed British society today
- The benefits of multiculturalism
- How immigration and multiculturalism has helped build Britain following World War 2
Following this course you will understand:
- The definition of multiculturalism
- How multiculturalism has benefited British society today
- Some of the policies and acts passed around multiculturalism
- How immigration and multiculturism helped re-build Britain following World War 2
