  • What has brought different communities to Britain and where they have settled
  • The trends in immigration from 1945 to present day
  • Who has come to the UK, when and why?
  • How immigration has changed the population make up of Britain today
  • Understanding the main trends in immigration from 1945 to present day
  • Understanding some of the ‘push’ and ‘pull’ factors affecting immigration
  • Understanding legislation which has helped to bring communities to the UK
  • The changing make up of British society

You must be working at literacy Level 1 or above
