Fees

What do I have to pay?

Our courses are funded mostly by the West Midlands Combined Authority and are therefore for people living in the West Midlands county including Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Sandwell, Dudley, Solihull and Coventry.  If you are interested in applying for a course but you do not live in any of these areas, please contact the Admissions team on 0121 472 0116 to see if you are eligible to apply. 

Our courses could be free to you depending on your financial circumstances and other eligibility criteria.  Some people who are employed, as well as unemployed, may be eligible to attend our courses for free.

Group A Students

Students receiving JSA (Job Seeker's Allowance), ESA (Employment Support Allowance) or Universal Credit (if unemployed and mandated to undertake skills training). Or if employed, self-employed or low-waged earning £9.90 per hour take home pay.

Group B Students

Students receiving the following state benefits: Income Support, Council Tax Credit or Housing Benefit (excludes 25% reduction for single occupancy), Pensiion, Credit Guarantee or Working Tax Credit (if household income is low-waged). 

Group C Students

All other students who are eligible for Employment Skills and Funding Agency (ESFA) support will pay a subsidised fee for courses
