Fircroft College offers a unique experience where adults live
and learn in a friendly, attractive and supportive environment.
The
college occupies a former Cadbury family home set in six
acres of beautiful grounds in Selly Oak, Birmingham. Founded
in 1909, Fircroft was created to provide educational
opportunities for some of the most disadvantaged and
excluded members of society. This ethos of social justice,
combined with academic excellence, continues to this day.
Ofsted judged Fircroft to be an ‘outstanding college’ in
2007 and the college was awarded Beacon Status in 2008.
As Fircroft is a residential college, learners are able to ‘get
away from it all', so they can focus on achieving personal and
career goals.
