Entry-Level 3

Do you want to improve your English language skills?  Do you feel you need to increase your confidence and skills in writing? if so, this course will help you and you will be able to work with other students and do group work to increase your confidence and improve your communication skills.

Topics will include everyday communication such as work, transport, shopping, lifestyle, study, British culture and history, and finding things that you need.

At the end of the course there will be a practice exam and a final exam.

Learning Outcomes 

When you successfully complete your course you will receive a college certificate

Entry Requirements 

You will need to take one of our ESOL initial Assessments so that we can find out what level you are at with your English language skills.

Careers and Progression

As part of your course, you will receive careers support to help you think about your next steps and future goals.
This includes:

  • Online access to our Careers and Progression Hub through our website
  • A printed and online Careers and Progression Resource Pack, including information and guidance on:
    • different job sectors and career pathways
    • searching and applying for jobs
    • writing a professional CV
    • interview preparation and tips
  • Invitations to lunchtime careers workshops on Tuesdays or Fridays
  • Career focused enrichment sessions every month
  • One careers-focused session delivered by our Careers and Progression Coordinator
  • Access to careers information and guidance throughout your course
  • The opportunity to book a 1-1 with the Careers and Progression Coordinator for extra support or advice around your plans and goals
  • A progression day with relevant organisations to help you explore opportunities.
