Looking to improve your maths confidence and skills? This course is ideal if you wish to get ahead and up-skill for progression in the workplace or prior to enrolling onto a higher level programme.

Course Times

This is a non-residential course. You are required to attend Mondays and Wednesdays every week.

Mondays – 1.30pm – 5.00pm

Wednesdays 9.00am – 12.30pm

This course is for anyone who needs to achieve a level 2 qualification in Numeracy in order to progress into higher education or employment.

The course will help you to:

  • Develop your employability skills and gain confidence
  • Progress to a range of courses
  • Refresh your skills
  • Help you with daily activities such as helping your family members with their school work or budgeting.
  • Build your confidence

This course is very interactive, giving you the basic information which can be further developed at home and you will learn the skills needed to take the full functional skills exam in numeracy.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however you will need to sit an initial assessment to show that you are working at this level.

  • A progression day with relevant organisations to help you explore opportunities.
