Access to Higher Education Diploma (Social Science and Humanities) and (Social Science and Health) and Pre-Access to Higher Education Courses (Social Science and Humanities) and (Health) Open Days

At present we are a virtual college because of Coronavirus but we are planning to be open to students in September, offering the rich residential learning environment that we have always offered.

Because we are a residential college, we accept applications for our Access to HE Diplomas from anywhere in England, not just the Midlands.

Our Pre-Access to Higher Education courses (Social Science and Humanities) and (Health), and our Access to Higher Education Diplomas (Social Science and Humanities) and (Social Science and Health) Open Day on 20th August at the college will start at 11.00 am and will last for one or two hours, depending on how long you want to stay with us.

Once you have registered to attend an Open Day we will keep you updated with more details nearer the time and we will send you information so that you can join us on the day.

The Open Day on Thursday 20th August 2020 will be at the college premises (depending on government guidelines at the time).  Details will be provided to applicants nearer to the event.  The Open Day will include:

  • An introduction to the Access and Pre-Access to HE courses at Fircroft College
  • Speaking to course tutors about course content, residential options, funding information and progression opportunities
  • A tour of the college
  • An initial assessment if you want to progress
  • Completing an application form
